With the fast increasing number of Kayaks being produced and sold now there is a major concern of motorized boats and kayak accidents.

With the price of kayaks costing under $200.00 now and being available at your local Walmart or Meijer’s stores also with the option of an inflatable or a 3-piece module sections, these types of kayaks can be transported in the smallest compact cars. A single company can produce over 1,000 kayaks a day and there are a lot of companies manufacturing them.

With that being said these kayaks are showing up in homes with your average home owner having 1 or 2 kayaks each, gaining as fast as the number of televisions in a house.

For the kayakers wear a high visible life vest and add a flag to your kayak. If a boat approaches you wave your paddle so they can see you. For the motorboats keep a close eye out for the kayaks as they come in all colors, shapes and sizes including the hard to see blue ones that blend into the water.

Kayaks comes in many sizes, colors and styles such as this green kayak with paddle and orange kayak.
